Poverty and education are intertwined. In fact, one of the biggest contributors to global poverty is lack of access to education. Compassion International Tanzania in partnership with frontline church partners across Tanzania is committed to ensuring access to education to vulnerable children and youth. Through our child sponsorship program, we offer children in poverty opportunity to go to school. We give them the chance to change the facts about education and change their future. They may receive textbooks, uniforms and fees. They may also receive tutoring with their homework, and spiritual and emotional support when things get tough.
